Twenty-three rubies (*faux) again represent each Wyoming county and were used in recognition of the month, July, in which Wyoming became a state in 1890. Wyoming Capitol Building Dome
The rendition of the dome on Wyoming's Capitol Building features minute details of its beautiful architecture. Wyoming is one of only 22 states in the USA featuring a gold leaf dome. Larger than the traditional pin, it comes in one gold treatment which appears to be two tones of gold with deep blue representing the windows high above the building. This pin measures 1-5/8" x 3/4".
University of Wyoming Seal
Wyoming's only four-year institution of higher learning, located in Laramie, was established in 1886 before Wyoming was a state. This meaningful pin comes only in gold tone and measures 1 - 1/8".
"Old Main" at the University of Wyoming
The first building constructed on the new campus (then just a pasture) of the University of Wyoming is traditionally called "Old Main." This pin's unique feature is created during production with a special process that assures no two pins have identical cloud formations. This pin measures 1- 1/18" x 5/8".
